#Step 1
It's the primary step where you need to backup all your essential data on your old device with iCloud. Follow the instructions as given below.

# Step 2
It's the second primary step where you need to restore your new iPhone device with the iCloud backup that you have made in above steps. Follow the below instructions to resets your new iPhone device with the respective backup data.

Inst 1. Go to setting


Inst 2. Click on "General"


Inst 3. Now click on reset


Inst 4. Now select "Erase all content and setting."


Inst 5. Now click on "Erase Phone."

Note: When you have new phone with you, it's already in reset (default) mode. So you can skip the #step 2 and proceed directly with #step 3.


# Step 3
Once the above process is done, set up your iPhone from the beginning.

Inst 1. Go to "Language, Date Time and More"


Inst 2. Select "Restore data from cloud backup" available there on Apps and Data page.

How To How To Transfer Your Data From Your Old iPhone to New iPhone With iTunes 

If you're an old iPhone user, then you must be knowing that iCloud was introduced with iOS 5. Earlier, iTunes was the only way known to move files from one to another iPhone.

Also, remember that while transferring data through iTunes, all your data available in iTunes backup will get restored on your new iPhone device and you will not get an opportunity to sort or select the data. Whether you want or not, all wanted, and unwanted files will get restored without sorting.

Here we have explained how to proceed with iTunes.

# Step 1
Start with creating backup data of your old iphone. Follow the below instructions to create the backup.


Inst. 1. Go To iTunes


Inst. 2. Use the USB cable and connect your old iPhone device to your computer.

Inst. 4. There will be "This Computer" in the  Backup Section. Check that.

# Step 2
In this step, you will restore the backup data you have just created in the above steps.

Now, if you have new unused iPhone that's not activated yet, click on "Restore Data" from this backup to move all your necessary files from your old iPhone to your new iPhone device.

Inst. 3: Select "Restore backup" option available there in the backup section. Make sure that you choose backup that you have created recently in the above steps.

Pro Tips:

1. Follow all the steps as mentioned above correctly, otherwise, there can be some data loss.

  1.  In Case if your iPhone device is not getting recognized, check whether USB is adequately connected or not.
  2. Make sure you restore with the recently created backup file, or you will lose some of your precious data.

4. In the iTunes based approach, you will not be able to sort files before moving them through the backup. So the idea is to delete or remove all the unwanted and unnecessary data from your old iPhone device so that only essential and the files you want on your new iPhone get transferred. Also, remember that the deleted files can't be accessed once removed.
