Disable BitLocker in Windows 10 from Control Panel
1 Open the Control Panel in Windows 10.
2 Double-click on the BitLocker Drive Encryption.
3 Now, expand the related BitLocker encrypted drive.
4 Click on the Turn off BitLocker.
After doing that, you will successfully disable BitLocker in Windows 10.
Disable BitLocker in Windows 10 with Command Prompt
If you're familiar with command prompt, then you can disable BitLocker in Windows 10 by using Command Prompt.
1 Open Command Prompt as administrator. To do so type Command Prompt on the search bar and choose the option run as administrator from the menu.
2 When Command Prompt opens, enter manage-bde -off X: command and run it (replace X with the drive letter of the selected Bitlocker encrypted drive).

Disable BitLocker in Windows 10 with PowerShell
1 Press Windows Key + X and select Windows PowerShell(Admin).
2 When PowerShell opens, enter Disable-BitLocker -MountPoint "X:" command and press Enter to run it (replace X with the drive letter of the selected Bitlocker encrypted drive).
BitLocker drive decryption process will take time, so please don't interrupt it. After the process complete, the BitLocker is successfully disabled in Windows 10.
Disable BitLocker service
You can easily disable BitLocker in Windows 10 through the BitLocker service.
1 Press Windows Key + R and enter command services.msc. Press Enter or click on OK.
2 When Services window opens, find BitLocker Drive Encryption Service and double click on it.
3 Open the drop-down option of Startup type and select disable and click on Apply and OK to save changes.
After disabling the BitLocker service, BitLocker should be disabled in your Windows 10.
Turn off device encryption from the Settings app to disable BitLocker in Windows 10
You can easily disable BitLocker in Windows 10 from the Settings app.
1 Open the Windows Settings.
2 In the Windows Settings page, navigate to the System option.
3 In the left pane, select About. Now find Device encryption section on the right side and click on Turn off button.
4 The confirmation dialog appears, click on Turn off again.
After doing that, BitLocker is disabled in Windows 10.
