Remove LinkedIn Open to Work on Desktop

You can remove the Open to work feature from your LinkedIn on your desktop with the following steps:

Sign in to your LinkedIn account. Enter your email or phone in the first field, then the password in the other, and click on the sign-in button. You can also use the sign-in with Google or Apple options depending on the option you choose while opening your LinkedIn account.

Click on the Me icon from the options in the tile at the top of the page.

The Me icon will display a drop-down dialog box, and click on the view profile button in the dialog box.

When the profile page displays, click on the edit icon (pencil icon) from the “Open to Work” box. You will find the box at the top of your profile below your profile picture.

Step 5: Delete from Profile

The Edit job preferences dialog box will display. You can either edit your job preference or remove the open-to-work feature. Click the Delete from Profile button to remove the open to work feature.

Step 6: Confirm the Delete

A confirmation box will display. Click on the Delete button to complete.

Step 7: Refresh the Page

The open the work feature may still display on your profile picture. Refresh the page, and it will disappear.

Remove LinkedIn Open to Work on iOS Devices

Here are the steps to remove the open the work feature on iOS devices.

Step 1: Launch LinkedIn

Launch the LinkedIn application from your apps list. Sign in if you are not already signed in.

Step 2: Tap Your Profile Picture

After signing in, click on your profile picture at the top of your screen to continue.

Step 3: View Profile

Click on the view profile button from your device’s screen.

Follow the steps below to remove the open-to-work feature on your Android devices.

Conclusion

LinkedIn will send you an email to confirm that you’re still open to work if you stop responding to InMails from recruiters. Then LinkedIn will automatically remove the open-to-work feature from your account if you did not confirm the email sent to you. But, you can manually add it again.
