How to rotate or flip Windows screen on a laptop by using the keyboard
Through the keyboard, you can easily rotate screen on the laptop and it is the easiest way to do it. You have to simply use three different keys by which you can quickly rotate screen on a laptop as you want.
To rotate screen on a laptop you have to hold the "Control key + Alt key + select the arrow key" in which direction you want to rotate screen on the laptop.
To restore back to the normal screen you have to hold the "control key + Alt Key + select the up arrow".
If this method is not working then there is another method by which you can rotate screen on the laptop.
How to rotate or flip screen on laptop through Windows Setting
Through the windows setting, you will able to rotate screen on a laptop.
1. Open windows setting by clicking on the windows icon.
2. In windows setting page you will see the System option, click the System option.
3. Now you will see the display option. So here you have to find the orientation option on the display page.
Note: You can directly go to the display page by using another way. You have to right-click on the desktop and here you can see the display setting option. By clicking on the display setting option you will directly go to the display page.
4 In orientation menu, you will see the four option in which landscape is the default for all the laptops. Now here you can choose the other option to rotate screen on the laptop.
Landscape- This is the default option for the screen.
Portrait- By clicking this option your screen will rotate 90 degrees. So the right edge of your screen will now the bottom of the screen
Landscape (flipped) – If you select Landscape (flipped) your screen goes upside down. So the top edge of your screen will now the bottom of the screen.
Portrait (flipped) – If you select portrait (flipped) your screen will rotate 90 degrees. So the left edge of your screen will now the bottom of the screen.
How to rotate screen on a laptop by using Intel Graphics Control Panel
Through the Intel Graphics control panel option you will also able to rotate screen on the laptop.
1 Open the Intel graphics control panel option by right click on the desktop.
2 Here Intel Graphics control panel page you will see the display option. So click on it.
3 Now display options page will open and here you will see the rotation option by which you can rotate screen on the laptop as you want.

Enable or disable screen rotation using the settings
You can also disable or enable screen rotation or flip, using the Windows Settings. Here are the steps which you need to follow
- Open Settings
- Click on Display
- Under the Scale and layout area, change the Rotation lock on or off
Note: If you not able to see "Rotation Lock On/Off" toggle button, then your device doesn't have that feature.
