Good and Thick hair definitely helps a person to look good but to grow them has become a challenge for everyone. Studies have found that the speed of hair growth is approximately half an inch per month. You can either apply it to your scalp and leave it for half an hour or consume it daily in the morning. Amla works as antioxidants and can also be used in massaging hair.


3) Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera is rich in nutrients and helps in repairing dead skin cells which gradually slows down hair loss. Aloe vera gel can be obtained easily by peeling the leaf and extracting gel from it. This can be applied twice or thrice in a week and proteolytic enzymes present in aloe vera will help in hair growth.


4) Yogurt

Yogurt helps in restoring pH balance of the scalp and it removes any fungal infection present in your hair. Applying yogurt once a week will help in growing hair healthy by nourishing it. Mixing yogurt with fenugreek can also be a great combination in maintaining scalp health.


5) Oil Massage

Massaging hair with oil twice a week, keeping it overnight and then washing them next morning will help in growing hair naturally. Coconut oil alone or mixed with sage oil/ lavender oil/ olive oil/ castor oil/ almond oil can be used for hair massage. It removes dryness from hair by restoring moisture content of the hair. Various antioxidants oils like tea tree oil can also be added to coconut oil for accelerating hair growth.



Apart from the above-mentioned remedies, it is very important to include proteins, vitamins, and minerals rich food in your diet. What you eat directly affects your health and avoiding nutritional deficiencies can affect hair growth abnormally.
